We love toys!

We have a brand new category to our store……toys!

Of course dolls clothes are our first love…but variety IS the spice of life….so we have hand picked a selection of crafty toys we know your gorgeous girl will love.

One of our favourites has to be the Hello Hanna placemats. A pack of 8 sturdy, colourful placemats, each with a table setting printed on the front. A cut out doll can be folded up from each mat, and then decorated with stickers.  Its such a fun idea that keeps kids ammused for ages!

These placemats make a colourful and striking table decoration at your next kids birthday party. Each guest can customise their own table setting….and take them home afterwards as a keepsake.

Does your child struggle to sit at the table in a resteraunt? Plonk one of these down and they will be as good as gold…and might even put their knife and fork in the right spot!

Enjoy checking out our new toys!

Its all about the hair…..

When I was younger, I had long hair that I loved to braid….and could spend hours creating intricate plaits in my sisters hair too. The skills stay with you (just like riding a bike!) and although my own hair is now pixie cut to within an inch of its life, I love doing my own girls hair…..and of course their dolls!

A fishbone braid is a simple yet amazing design that is very eyecatching…..you do need quite long hair for the full effect but its a bit of fun and suits our Moppet Poppet dolls long blonde hair perfectly.  Have a go and finish with a gorgeous pink ribbon!

The things dads do….

The thing I dislike most about my business is taking product photos.  I am without a doubt, NOT a photograher and because I have so many products coming through all the time, using a pro would just get crazy.

Enter my dad with his ‘you beaut’ camera who came up to help me the other day…thanks dad!!  I dressed the doll in all the new outfits and he was shooting…..just your normal father / daughter Thursday afternoon really…..

I had to duck out to grab my daughter from school, only to come home and find he’d kept going….dressing the doll, posing her and taking a few snaps…check out the soccer outfit for his sole effort!

We promptly then grabbed our scarves and headed off for a night game of footy – finding ourselves an hour yelling for our team.  Having had his feminine side in overdrive that arvo it was well deserved…. although we did ‘talk shop’ at half time….quite possibly the only footy fans in amoungst 35,000 discussing dolls over a beer…..

Cheers, Amanda xx
